Law of Attraction

What do you know about the Law of Attraction? This is certainly debated by many who feel they know everything, and some feel they are very careful about it being a dominant force controlling our lives. While actually that can be true, the reality is that your own mind, and your mind alone controls the Law of Attraction for you.
One of the most important things to remember is that you don’t want to hang on to any negative thoughts for any period of time at all. Instead you want to take those negative thoughts and immediately replace them with positive thoughts. Now this can definitely take some practice in the beginning because as humans we constantly have been bombarded with negative things, bad things coming our way, people who want to hurt us or cause us harm in many ways, or just generally we are concerned about the world events.
As a Law of Attraction practitioner I have found that the hardest thing for any of my clients and myself in the beginning, to get a hold of is that you have to push aside the negative thoughts and just think of something that makes you feel good. For example if you are concentrating on your lack of money or what you perceive to being the lack of money then that just sends the universal signal to give you more of the same, and that being more lack of money. Instead picture yourself with bags of money flowing your way from many different angles, and also think about some of the wonderful things that you can do with this money is that you can help people. That is certainly something that will give you great joy and attract more of what you envision.
The Universe is very happy to provide what we are focusing on, the fact is that this can be both good and bad things--- it is simply what you concentrate on. This might seem to be an overly simplistic look at what the Law of Attraction is, however the most important thing is that you want to start in the most simplistic way and not make things so complicated. That’s where the problems arise in thinking through things too much, adding the negativity that invariably comes into one’s mind, and focusing on that instead of flipping back to that which is positive, which will indeed bring you positive results.
That certainly isn’t to say that when a negative thought comes into your head that immediately the Law of Attraction delivers what you are thinking of. But if you continue to focus on these negative thoughts you’ll find that the universe is only too happy to provide you with what you are obsessing on.The universe doesn’t know if what you are focusing on is good or bad, it simply sends to you what you are asking for and concentrating on continually.
Try this experiment-- Do you know someone that you absolutely have felt is just plain crabby? Someone who no matter what pleasantries you might exchange with them , they are riddled with doubt and fear and are downright grumpy? Try to focus on this individual day after day and envision them as a very pleasant person, envision them as someone who is looking for optimistic things, envision them as someone you actually would enjoy having as your friend.
Even more powerful is envisioning a group of people that you are surrounded by at your workplace that are indeed quite happy and quite good to work with. What will this accomplish by focusing on this on a continuing basis? You’ll be happy to see that either the person who was a total grouch changes over a short period of time, or that you are indeed surrounded by a lot of other very cheerful co-workers.
Also you can try this exercise-- always catch yourself when you are starting to say things like “while we probably won’t have enough money to go to dinner, we won’t be able to make the rent, we’re probably going to lose the car, etc.--- change your story to instead to “we have plenty of money to go have a great dinner at a fancy restaurant instead of a fast food joint, we’ve got plenty of money for not only for the rent this month, etc.. The most important thing about this exercise is that you get in the habit of saying positive things, and let the Universe work for you!! will have more in a series of articles in the months to come and there will also be an opportunity for one-on-one counseling if you so desire.
